CII Chandigarh Fair 2017: A Spectacular Showcase of Commerce and Culture

In its 22nd consecutive year, the CII Chandigarh Fair returns with even more grandeur and diversity, promising an unforgettable experience for all. Spanning over 16,000 sqm of exhibition space, this mega event will feature 14 Concurrent Expos, each catering to a unique aspect of lifestyle and commerce.

Since its inception in 1995, the CII Chandigarh Fair has been a cornerstone of the region’s business and cultural landscape, providing a platform for artisans, traders, and small-scale industries to showcase their products directly to consumers. This year’s fair promises to be no different, with a wide array of offerings ranging from cars, bikes, electronics, and consumer durables to apparels, accessories, food, home décor, and kitchen appliances.

Mr. Babu Khan, Regional Director of CII Northern Region, emphasized the importance of the fair in providing opportunities for MSME units, self-help groups, and small-scale industries to reach out to the people of the region. With CII’s continued support, these businesses can directly market their products and expand their reach.

The event is supported by esteemed partners such as the National Small Industries Corporation Ltd (NSIC), Indian Oil, BSNL, ATS Group, GBP Group, SBI, and Veeba Albasir, among others. From beauty aids to fitness gadgets, the CII Chandigarh Fair 2017 promises something for everyone. It is not just an exhibition; it is a celebration of entrepreneurship, creativity, and the vibrant culture of the region.

The mega exhibition will be divided into 14 Concurrent Expos this year.  Started in 1995, this will be the 22^ndyear in a row that the fair is being organised by CII. The exhibition area is spread over 16,000 sqm (gross area). The fair will be held from 10 AM to 8 PM, Singh added.

“With CII Chandigarh Fair 2017, CII has once again provided direct access to artisans, small traders, handloom and handicraft workers as well as small and medium-scale industries to directly market their products. MSME units and Self Help Groups (SHGs) have been brought under one roof to reach out to the people of the region. In future also CII will continue to provide such platforms especially for the small-scale industry,” Mr Babu Khan, Regional Director, CII Northern Region, said here today.
