CII Trade Fair, probably the most awaited event of the city for the most awaited festival of India, Diwali is back with its 2016 edition at Parade Ground, Chandigarh. CII which is an acronym for Confederation of Indian Industry organizes this Chandigarh trade fair every year. This mega event is directly linked to the Government of India and is supported by ministry of AYUSH. This is one of its kind fair to be solely for and of the people and this is what makes it so popular amongst the crowd of Chandigarh.

From October 17th to 20th, 2016, Chandigarh welcomed the 21st edition of the CII Chandigarh Fair, a premier B2C Exhibition organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Held at the iconic Parade Ground in Sector 17, Chandigarh, this annual extravaganza brought together a diverse array of exhibitors and visitors from across the region.

Building on the success of previous editions, the CII Chandigarh Fair 2016 aimed to surpass expectations with its vibrant showcase of commerce and culture. With over 300 exhibitors, including a significant international presence, and an anticipated attendance of over 250,000 visitors, the fair promised to be a bustling hub of activity and opportunity.

The fair featured a dynamic lineup of concurrent shows, each offering a unique perspective on business and lifestyle. From the rich diversity of the States of India pavilion to the global allure of the International Arcade, attendees were treated to a feast for the senses.

Finmart catered to financial needs, while Décor and Persona delighted with offerings in home decor and personal care. Mega Brands and Infocom showcased the latest innovations in technology and consumer goods, while the Haute Couture section dazzled with high-fashion offerings.

The Fruit and Food Show showcased culinary delights, while The North India Auto Show revved up excitement among automobile enthusiasts. Additionally, the Social Expo highlighted corporate social responsibility and community development initiatives, underscoring the fair’s commitment to social impact.
